May 29, 2023 – Slow Down, Enjoy, and Create Part 2

For today’s card, I played with the truck die I won from Keep It Simple Paper Crafts and made a Father’s day card for my dad.

This die is SO much fun!

Here is the final result:

Supplies: Card Stock: American Crafts (grey), Park Lane (white); Dies: Keep It Simple Paper Crafts; Stamps: Lawn Fawn; Ink: Memento (black), Tim Holtz (Distress Gathered Twigs); Pen: Signo Broad White Gel Pen; Other: Red Card Stock

I popped up the trunk on foam tape, and I also inked the edges of the grey and red card stock to give it more of a vintage look and added some gel pen accents too.

To make it a shaped card, I created a second panel and creased it with a bone folder and attached it with red tape.

I am really happy with how it turned out and think my dad will really like it!
