Today I am continuing with part four in my craft room clean out series.
Lots of areas were starting to look better, but more projects kept coming up!
For this day, I decided to clean a few things off the dreaded brown desk.
I really want this desk to be a place for the kids to be able to craft at, but it looked like this:

Yikes.
I started with just pulling five things out and putting them away. That turned into twenty-five. Then I found something under the desk to put away, and then came the all-out clean out underneath the brown desk.
Oh. my.
It was an immense undertaking, but it now looks like this:

Say what????
There were so many stacks of papers under there, but I cleaned them all out, got rid of quite a bit or moved things to the right spots, and now the only thing under the desk is the chair.
Now THAT was a major accomplishment!
Unfortunately, the next project made my craft room a lot messier.
I had been pulling things out, making a mess, and then was able to put everything back in its new proper place, but then I decided to move all of the craft supplies I had put in our exercise room (when my husband set up a home office in the craft room) BACK into the craft room.
I am determined that everything (except for maybe the kids’ art supplies) has to fit into my craft room, or I have to get rid of it.
So, now it looks a lot more crowded.
There are new bins in spots where I got rid of one.
And the brown desk is in even worse shape-which I didn’t think possible.
Not to mention a big pile on my desk:

But it’s all back in, and I will slowly work my way through this next batch of stuff, and I will get there!
That’s it for today, but there will be more installments to come, so keep your eye out! 🙂
