Over the past few weeks I have been sharing the progress I have been making on a full craft room clean out.
Here is today’s installment!
I decided to tackle this shelving system:

I went through every bin and box.
Most of it was Studio Calico kits I had purchased back in the day.
Most were partial kits, I decided to break them all down and incorporate them into my stash.
After sorting everything, I ended up with several empty bins that I filled with supplies by type (one for stickers, one for ephemera, etc.)-making them easy to grab for future projects.

I then incorporated all the patterned paper onto my paper shelves and organized all of my card stock by color family. So much easier to find things now!

Then, I cleared off the top of my paper storage. Lots of it was mixed media supplies, so I incorporated them into one of my ALEX drawers and got all of my mixed media supplies organized. It looks ridiculously better, and now I not only know what I have, but can find it!
I emptied several more containers on my bookshelf and got it better organized too, which was nice.
Finally, I worked on this plastic drawer unit:

Eventually I want to replace it with another ALEX drawer unit, but until then, this is what I have. A lot of my Christmas supplies were shoved on top, and I really wanted to put everything in one of the drawers.
The top drawer of the unit was filled with, you guessed it, more of the kids’ papers! Yay!
I went through all of them, and then filled the drawer with my Christmas supplies.
I converted the second drawer into one for chipboard and acrylic pieces, as well as my embossing folders.
The bottom one was already being used for punches, and I just left that one alone as I like having them there.
It looks so much better now!
Well, that’s it for this installment, but just you wait-next week’s post showcases two more really big projects I tackled!
